1. The instrument automatically shuts down
The instrument has the ability to detect battery power. When the battery power is too low, the instrument will automatically shut down. You can charge the battery for a period of time first, or directly connect to the power adapter, and then turn it on.
2. The instrument cannot be turned on
A. You should check whether the battery power is sufficient and whether the installation is reliable, or directly connect to the power adapter and turn it on.
B. Press the power button several times, but the interval should not be less than half a minute.
C. Connect the power adapter, and turn on the soft switch of the instrument power repeatedly.
D. If the above method is invalid, connect the power adapter and charge the battery for half an hour before turning it on.
3. Ultrasonic flaw detector crashes
A. Whether the parameter setting is in line with the flaw detection process, if the parameter setting is wrong, it will cause a calculation error during the flaw detection process, resulting in the crash of the instrument.
B. When the battery is almost used up, because the voltage is very low, the screen may display confusion or be frozen, like a crash. At this time, turn off the instrument for charging, or connect it to the voltage adapter and then turn it on for use, usually it can return to normal.
4. No echo
A. Whether the probe is connected correctly.
B. Whether the probe mode setting is appropriate, if the probe is set as a dual crystal or penetrating probe, and a single probe is connected, there will be no echo.
C. Whether the probe line is normal, whether the contact between the probe and the probe line is normal, you can use a tweezers (metal) to touch the inner core of the probe seat, if there is clutter, the instrument is good, and the probe line should be damaged.
D. Whether the parameter settings such as gain, display translation, probe zero point, and signal suppression are appropriate.
E. Simple solution when there is no echo: restore the system parameters to the factory state, then connect a straight probe with a new probe line, probe on a thin test block with good coupling, if there is an echo, it may be set to the original parameters Improper or poor contact of the probe wire.
