Detection process

◆ Weld longitudinal and transverse defect detection, tandem detection of weld blunt edge area and delamination detection of weld heat affect zone

◆ Blind zone of pipe end: longitudinal and delamination detection≤50mm; transverse detection ≤ 50+2×T (T is wall thickness)

◆ Detection Method: spiral weld: water film method

              Longitudinal welded pipe: water film method or water jet method

System software

1. Perform a 1:1 simulation of the weld, visually showing the position of the defect in the weld

2.The coverage area of probe can be set through simulation software, reducing the time for manual probe adjustment

3.C,D scan can visually show the axial and circumferential position of the defect

4.In the process of automatic detection, the system will automatically generate an audible and visual alarm when it detects defects or delamination and poor coupling in thickness measurement.

Fully phased array technology ultrasonic testing of weld, full sound beam coverage of weld from multi-angle, can greatly improve the detection rate of natural defects, and ensure no omissive detection to the greatest extent



Phased array imaging detection can have B-scan, D-scan, S-scan and C-scan at the same time. Through modeling, three-dimensional graphics can be established, defect display is graphical, and the effect is intuitive.
