From April 20 to May 10, 2021, the national steel structure quality supervision and inspection center, in combination with Wuhan Zhongke InnovationTechnology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., carried out the remote TOFD automatic detection in the application technology research of the construction steel structure engineering in Tongzhou "Urban Sub Center Theater Project", This is another important engineering application research of TOFD technology in the field of building steel structure, after the second phase project of National Conference Center, and also the first field application of remote automatic detection technology in the field of construction engineering, and important exploration of modern detection technology to engineering practice.
TOFD detection is a kind of ultrasonic detection method for defect location, measurement, and analysis by receiving diffraction wave signal of defect endpoint. In this experiment, the HS810 portable TOFD ultrasonic detector of Wuhan Zhongke Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. is adopted, and the remote TOFD automatic detection technology is developed by combining crawling robots and image recognition technology. According to the construction site conditions, the relevant units selected the box column butt weld as the test object and carried out the engineering field application research and test by using the remote TOFD automatic detection technology.
This field test is based on the TOFD detection technology combined with the new remote automatic detection technology to carry out major engineering application research. It actively explores the application of remote TOFD automatic detection technology in the field of building steel structures and accumulates valuable experience. The continuous improvement and subsequent standard compilation collected a large amount of original data, and at the same time confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of the technology in the inspection of steel structure welds, laying a solid foundation for further exploration of remote intelligent inspection and diagnosis of steel structure welds.
